how would you all compare the L3010 to the L3130, is there much difference in size and preformance. Am I better off buy a new L3130 or a use 2000 L3010 for $5000 less???

Those are both great machines. The L3130 weighs several
hundred pounds more than the L3010. There are lots of other upgrades, too, incl electronic dash, flip-up hood, external 3-pt lift cylinders, etc.
If you are looking at a $5000 difference, then are you comparing a used 3010 with a new 3130? Tranny, loader, and hours being equivalent, there should not be as big of a price diff.

Ooops. I did not read your post carefully. New 3130, used 3010.
These units use the same engine, the quietest diesel in this class I will bet. Weight diff is 500 lb! ....
